Paracord whip question

Post by Jerome »

I have made a few leather whips, I am interested in trying to make a nylon one. Do you remove the "core" from the paracord so it lies flat?

I started making my whips with para cord and I feel that I know most of the in's and outs of making out of this material. I personally do remove the core to the cord because I feel that it allows the strands to sit more flat and not have a rounded look to them when you plait. Hope that helps with your question. James

Thanks! That was exactly what I was thinking, nice to have expert confirmation. I checked out your websites, your nylon whips look awesome.
