In order to help avoid server crashes, due to bandwidth limitations, the following policy is now in effect:

AVATARS are not to be larger then 100x100 pixels.

GRAPHICS and IMAGES posted within a thread are not to exceed 640x480 pixels.

SIGNATURE GRAPHICS should not exceed 50x100 pixels and 10k bytes.
Signatures are NOT to include advertisements or links for outside sites.
(If & when we ever allow them back...)

Your personal site MAY be included in the TEXT portion of your signature OR it can be loaded into the WWW button, which is part of your profile.

A violation of this policy will automatically result in an account suspension of 2 weeks.
If this continues to be a problem, the signature function will be turned off.

A reminder of the above policy.
Pictures posted here over the last few days have been too big and have been removed.

Feel free to repost them once they have been resized.

Please adhere to the size restrictions.

Last warning!

If avatars and signatures do not start adhering to the above limitations, the offending accounts will be immediately deactivated and the function will be turned off for everyone.

End of story.

Seems with the influx of new members people are forgetting this rule. Please adjust your avatar and signature sizes accordingly, as well as adhere to the photo sizing, or don't be surprised to find your's deleted. If multiple occurances occur, suspensions may be necessary.

Let's make sure we also post avatar showing a bit of 'good taste'. Some of the recent postings have been on the edge, and some well over the line.

So if you find your avatar and/or photos removed, check your sizing situation, as well as consider the subject you've posted as being the possible reason for that removal.
