Speaking of "Creaky" leather.....

Post by spiridon »

....the subject of an earlier thread.....got me to wondering, how many of y'all like a little "creak" in your leather? As for me, I happen to like it. In my mind it sort of goes along with that leather smell as one of the positive sensory tags of leather. 8) :D Another "plus" for HH IMO. 8)

....just curious.

I agree. The sound and the smell of the jacket make it "feel" like it is a part of you.

I do not care for the creaky, squeaky jackets. It reminds me of the vinyl jackets from the 70's. There was a hilarious Benny Hill skit where his character was being interviewed and was wearing pleather pants and sitting on a leather couch. You could not hear any of the conversation from all the noise the pants were making.

Squeaking seems to happen more with the lighter weight horsehides I have had. The 4oz. plus ones did not really squeak. I have no idea if this is coincidence or not...
