I think the main players involved are too spooked to talk about this one.

I know we all hope that one of our favorite vendors gets the privelage of providing the lids for the new movie, but even if they did I am sure Lucasfilm will have some kind of gag clause...

The most likely scenario? HJ will be tasked to provide the hats again...*** for us, but at least we will all be able to get a "screen-accurate" tapered hat from the blocks they use nowadays

That's because Lucas and Lucasfilm are not aware that the best hat is the AB. And he will never find uout until somebody tells him.

The costumer would need to be identified and a AB sample sent to them for consideration...

Ford, Lucas and co will have to approve the choices made my the costume director.

Although Mrs. Landis did the costume work for Raiders, she had nothing to do with the sequels nor will she be working on Indy 4 in any way.

I posted a list of possible candidates in this thread:

But seems no one is any the wiser right now.

We know that Spielberg seems to favour Joanna Johnston. (TOD, LC, Ryan, War of the Worlds etc, etc).

Lucas seems to be favouring Tricia Biggar (YIJC, Ep 1 2 3 etc etc).

and the original costumer on Raiders was Deborah Nadoolman.

So who is Peter referring to? (I know of him working with TB in 2006 on Hallam Foe).

I'd like to add a couple of others to the list: Penny Rose (PotC 2+3, King Arthur), Colleen Atwood (MI:III).

Yep...

Deborah Nadoolman/Landis has nothing to do with Indy4.

What about Anthony Powell (TOD, LC)?
