Anyone gotten a jacket for their kid ?

Post by Doug C »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has bought a leather jacket for their kid? I'm thinking of getting one for my son from US Wings, they are only like $140 shipped and seem to be good quality. Not sure if my son would prefer the Lil Indy or an A2, he's only 4 but knows which is which believe it or not.. He likes some of the squadron patches (cute ones, Felix the cat, etc.) so maybe the A2 is better. Anyone got a pictures or have a comment on them?

_ purchased a Wings goatskin kids jacket for his boy years ago, and from all reports it's been a hit until he outgrew it.

Wested also will make one for you. Check with Dr. J here, as he had one made and it was a beaut!

HIGH regards! Michaelson

Here's the one I had made by Wested. It's a predistressed cowhide. It fits her perfectly (though she wears it sparingly). Oh well, maybe the newborn will love it when the time comes!

P.S. It was about $120 I think.

Ah, nothing like a good couple of "goat" jokes.

I absolutely love your daughters jacket. That is way cool. If you recall, I purchased a look-a-like Indy jacket from the Gap, for my son.
He's almost outgrown it as well, so I think I'm going to go the Wested route on the next one. Thanks for sharing the pics, Dr.J
