Australia [Hugh Jackman wears Indy Holster?]

Post by Kris »

A australian newspaper posted this news piece and picture, of a familiar holster. Well, familiar to me, is it indy's ? :)

TWO of Hollywood's biggest stars came to town but even the mayor didn't know they were secretly filming in his neighbourhood.

Camelot, a grand house at Camden on Sydney's outskirts, was the secret location for filming during the week of Baz Luhrmann's Australia, featuring Australian superstars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

A source close to the set revealed that Kidman and Jackman were in Camden for interior and exterior scenes on Wednesday and Thursday. But filming was so secret that Camden Mayor Chris _, who lives four doors away from the house, didn't even know the stars were in town.

That DOES look familiar. Good eyes there, Kris.

It's a VERY typical early 20th century flap holster. This one looks like it's for something like a Mauser pistol.

The Mauser holster hasa pretty tight 90 degree angle over the magazine.

I think that holster is for a revolver.

Whatever it is, it's something with a fairly long barrel with no ejector rod or anything beneath it...maybe a Webley or Enfield or something like that.
