Well I talked my work collegue into getting a Wested, actually it wasn't much persuading just seeing my one day after day for a year!
This is a month old and had the works thrown at it. Sandpaper, acetone, shoe polish, hot water you name it!
I think it may have been one of the last of the recent batch of goatskins, I think it looks really good. It's authentic brown but looks definately grayer than my Auth B lamb, not a bad thing though.
It's not a long, he's about 5' 10", but it is smaller... a 40". with a 33" waist.
He's a bit of a hoarder (jelly babies, time crystals etc...) so didn't specify small pockets. They don't look too big in the flesh.
What I do like is that the goat really looks and feels like a very sturdy jacket. When it was new it frankly didn't look too good, very flat and almost crackly with that sort of glazed surface that the "brand new" goat has. All that has gone now and the texture of the goat show through.
Yes, but just so nobody gets confused - this thread was brought back to life and the jacket is 2 years old now, and the goatskin is nolonger available via Wested
