10 foot 24 plait 3 tone Bullwhip W/ Lots and Lots of PICS!!!
Here are quite a lot of pictures of Boggstandards new 10 foot 24 plait 3-tone(Natural Tan, Red, and Black) Bullwhip!
Here are a couple shots of it without Shellac...
Some shots of the Handle...
The Transition knot...
Here are some shots of the handle knot. It is based off of the "Box Pattern" knot that I did on a white and black 24 plait whip. Pictures of that can be found in this thread:

This one is done in a three tone pattern that I worked out, and I am very proud of it.
Here are a few shots showing how the pattern is different depending on which side of the whip you are looking at.
And here are some pics of the whip in the middle of construction...
And here are some of the knot in progress...
And, Obviously, this one is of the finished knot.
Regards,
Paul Nolan

Wow!!
What a beautiful whip.
I wish I had one just like it.
I received the whip on Monday; needless to say, I am very pleased.
I have had several very fine whip makers do their interpretation of the three color motif. The results have been uniformly grand. But, Paul's work is certainly among the best.
Great work Paul. Thanks.

My first opportunity to really work-out the whip was over New Years in Yosemite. The whip has a very positive and fuild action; it lays out nicely, and it has an almost perfect weight and balance dynamic. Even for being stiff it cracks beautifully.
Several "non-whipper" tourist types commented on the beauty of the whip (color motif as well as plaiting quality and pattern).
Paul, I believe your whip will be the last three-color I will have made. I can't imagine I could acquire ones any better than those I have already had made.
Thanks again Paul.
Best Wishes,
-Boggs-
P.S.
Just a word of commendation and admiration for the makers who graciously made their version of the bull and snake three color whips:
Paul Nolan
Troy Horton
Bernie @EM WHIPS
Peter Jacks
SKT Whips (also a very nice stock whip)
Simon Martin
Joe Strain
