Now I'm hatless

Post by Kt Templar »

Well... in preparation for getting onboard Fedora's Rabbit AB train I had to sell my year old Akubra regular so off it went to it's new owner.

But before it went, I took a couple of pics and thought I'd share, it has a slight bump on the left hand side of the brim where it was pressed against something but I think that gives it some character, oh and it's a little dusty too! It is slightly turned but probably not enough.

All in all I think Akubras are brilliant, strong, affordable hats and I'm already starting to miss it!

nice guy....buy an akubra from KT and he'll throw in a bottle of 12 year old scotch!

thats a nice hat KT but i'm sure you'll be more than satisfied when the AB hits your head and she shapes to you.

Yeah, Kt's nice like that. Once he sent me a mad cow.

That looks like it was one well-loved Akubra, my friend. I wore mine nearly every day until I got my AB. It has since found a new and loving home. You'll really enjoy the AB once it gets your way. Still, I'll always have a fondness for the Akubra. Whether it's your first hat or only hat, it's a great hat all around.

Good looking Akubra

That looks just like my Akubra, which has served me very well since I received it some time ago. I wore it recently in a Christmas parade that my scout son took part in. I was one of the parent volunteers who walked and sometimes jogged by the floats. Indy Jacket and Fedora accompanied me.
