Where's the Goat?

Post by Slick »

Has anyone heard anything concerning Wested's goatskin shortage?
Has this occurred in the past?

It's happened before. When Peter gets it back, he'll let us know. It's a patience kinda thing.

I just realized that I've had my Wested goat for 2 years now. Its finally starting to show a bit of wear.

But back to the question at hand. It took me 3 months to get my jacket. Peter was having a hard time finding suitable hides. I'm sure finding quality hides is a never ending problem.

I was looking through some previous posts from early last year.

It appears that Wested had not received large enough goatskins to produce jackets at that time as well.

I'm itching to get a jacket and thought about switching my order from the auth. brown goatskin to horsehide, but I think I'm going to wait it out for the goatskin (although the horsehide does make a great looking jacket, too).

I keep telling myself....."Good things come to those who wait......"
