Indy's Other Jacket

Post by Toldog07 »

I know this isnt about his leather jacket, but where did indy get that jacket suit jacket he wore in the palace for dinner in ToD?? When they walked up he didnt have a bag with clothes in it, so i was just curious...maybe it was a gift from the wonderful people at pancot? :?

Shorty carried the bag with the suit jacket in it.

"Shorty, get our stuff!"

That's presumably where the good doctor also kept his glasses and his bowtie.

AND...poor Shorty forgot to pack, or somehow lost Indy's razor. Hence his unkempt and unshaven appearance at the dinner party.
A Palace that large, you'd think someone could have provided him with one, but I guess they were fresh out.
Not that it matters much anyhow, seeing as Indy sports a 3 day growth of beard after what seems to be a short nap on a plane. 8)

I always thought that the reference to the lost razor (besides being an obvious excuse to let our hero go around scruffy for the rest of the film) was to explain where they got some of Indy's hair for the voodoo doll... assuming he uses a safety razor and not a straight razor. But that's another gear debate...

Kind regards,

I go with straight razor. What says adventurer more than shaving with something that could take your head off

That shot above is classic! Willie's carrying her expensive dress tied with a string while Indy's tweed jacket is being totted in a leather case by a small child. Indy's quite the gentleman, eh? #-o
