Akubra Federation and extra long-ovals

Are the Akubra Federation and extra long-ovals compatible? I am told the hat can be shaped, but my large head can stretch the limits of a hat

No, but they can be made to work. I'm a size 7 3/8 long oval to extra long oval myself. They can be shaped nicely, and with work can be comfortable, but don't expect a perfect extra long oval fit without a professional reblock on an extra long oval block.
Been there, tried that, had to go to a professional to make it work.

If you're looking for a raiders look... a regular oval on a long oval head is perfect!
