For the love of the Gods!!!
Today, I was in a movie memorabila store looking at some prints. The guy in there asked me if I was after any particular one, so naturally I told him I was looking for an Indiana Jones related one. He asked his colleague but they didn't appear to have one in stock.
I'd mentioned that my jacket was 'the one' and he looked at me a bit skeptially, then told me that he had an 'Indy' style hat in stock, and showed me something which resembed this...

I know that us gearheads tend to fuss over little details, but sometimes I just can't understand how somebody is unable to tell the difference between a fedora and an outback hat.
Don't worry though, I told him that I owned probably the most screen accurate Raiders fedora out there. Steve, I hope you don't mind me referring to you as 'a guy in the states'
Why, oh why?!?

Indiana g, right you are but I'm with canyon. You should be able to tell a fedora from a outback hat. At least they didn't mix it up with a top hat.

How come it's so hard to distinguish a fedora from other types of hats? And a Aussie leather hat, at that... go figure.
Still, lots of folks can't tell the one from the other... which leads to tragic mishaps and angry customers, just like when one of our esteemed board members was the victim of a nasty hat misrepresentation...
See for yourselves.
