Browning Hi Power parts

Post by Pyroxene »

I saw these in the catalog last night. Sportsman's guide (www.sportsmansguide.com) has Browning® High Power walnut grips for $19.97 (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=148232)

And,

They have Browning® Hi Power black ring hammers for $22.97. (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=180499) Check with your gunsmith first to see if they will fit your gun.

I just thought that it was interesting that they offered these parts as you don't see them too often.

I received my grips a few weeks ago. A word of advise to those who own Agrentine Hi-Power pistols. It takes a good deal of sanding and carving to make these fit properly. But, now that I have them securely on the pistol, I wouldn't take them off. The wood grips feel much better.

Those hammers look rather rough. I improved my1935 by sending to Cylinder and Slide, somewhere in Nebraska for a new hammer, cnc machined sear and hammer and BarSto barrel. Now has a great trigger pull and is a fine accurate shooter.
