... Back in my day we didn't have fancy internet thingies. If you wanted a good fedora, you had to use the Yellow Pages and look under "Hats," save a few pay-checks to have one custom made and THEN hope it was right.

Before the invention of Over-Night Delivery... it could take days or even weeks to get your new fedora in the mail! And then sometimes because it was an over sized package you would have to walk to the post office if you were in a town where they had yet to invent the car or mass transportation.

But now... boo hoo hoo... I can't find the hat I'm looking for after only 30 seconds of searching on the website! Help me Vee Pee Kanobi... you're my only hope!

... Just Teasing, Dawg - when you place your order... tell Ron I said hello!

Yeah-the net has spoiled me. I'm used to instant gratification now...or nearly instant, anyway.

I'll tell him, Fisk....

Thanks for the link....it doesn't work either because of the totally arbitrary blocking of sites in the government school system. But it was worth a try.

Later!

Instant gratification takes too long.

I suppose it's not on Akubra's site because the Federation is an exclusive for "The Hattery"/"Hats Direct". They're the only ones that have them.
