S & W HE2 grips

Hey guys I was wondering about the grips on the Raiders gun. I won the same exact smith and it has the same exact grips (double diamonds) but mine are wood with dark wood coloring...isn't ole Indy's Black? Just a darker wood? Or plastic? Anyone know? If so what do I need to do to darken mine further?

Check out the main site and some other threads here.... The S&W has BOTH wood and black. Depends on the scene. There were two Smith's used in the movie. One version in San Fran and Hawaii (Indy's house and South America), and the other in England and Tunesia (Cairo shots). The Cairo one had the ramped site and the wood "gold medallion" grips. The other had black grips and a different site.
