For that sort of price you'll really need to shop around. Your local shopping mall may have a "leather outlet" with all sorts of mystery meat jackets. Or try second hand.

If there was a good close enough at that price in the big chains we'd be all over it to use as a beater I suspect.

If you are a small size (and in the US!) US Wings has a few Indy jackets in the sale. They look good.

Keep a close watch on ebay and the for sale ads here at the COW. With a little patience you just might get what your lookin for. I did :!:

I was about to say, depending on your size, they show up right here in our classified quite often for that price range, and you're talking about Wested jackets too!

I just need to derail the thread for a second. Is the US wings THAT bad? Or is ordering one just a shot in the dark? I was looking at the sale that KT touched on and its mighty tempting. Just my sizes too.

No, it's not that bad, but let's just take it at that, as yes, you WILL totally derail this string with that question. :?

Ah ha! Proof to the contrary. (Even though he hated it!)

In that case you could look into the Cotton Raiders. It now comes with the collar the same material as the body rather than cordroy.

Thanks to a very kind COW member, I was able to get my jacket for $140. I'm super, super pleased with it. Patience pays off! Course I've been on COW for a year or two...but the deal just fell into my lap!

Don't know how close you need to get, but Old Navy is selling a pretty cool predistressed A-2 copy for about $150 bucks. Not a bad looking jacket, and Indy enough if you're in a hurry to get ready for Halloween.

Hey, 'Blues.

That link is not working for me. Could they be sold out in less than a week, or is there something weird with the way Old Navy's site handles outside links?

In any case, can you tell us the name or item number of the jacket, or tell us how to navigate to it?

Thanks!

It must be sold out already, you may have to try going to the store, to see them in person. My local Old Navy had several left the other day.
