CUSTOM JACKET

Post by PLATON »

I pictured in my mind a yellowish SUEDE jacket with collar and pocket flaps made of cowhide natural color like the pic below.

What do you guys think?

I like the look of that jacket, too though... Do you have a photo of the back?

That'd be a darn good liner for winter wear!

More info, please :)

That looks like a Cabela's jacket.

It's not Cabela's
It's a Timberland from their new winter collection.
I don't have a picture of the back.

Timberland have taken an old style generally called 'Jasper' and put in a removable 'Borg' lining. We have done similar in the past with the otion of a removable sheepskin collar. This is also similar to the 'James Dean' jacket on which the ROLA jacket was partially based. That's why you like it. The back has a top joke and two lower panels.

Yeah, I was too thinking that it's similar to James Dean.

Peter, what kind of leather is that?

Here isthe linkfor that jacket.

I never liked the 2-piece back panel much. I think that for less than $650USD there are better options though.
