How do you get that 'wet-look'?

Hi everyone,I got caught in a heavy shower today,and I hung my jacket up to dry and I started thinking how much I love the look of the jacket when it's wet!,is there a way to get this 'wet-look' permanently?,I read somewhere that they may have used Vaseline on the film jacket for the jungle/temple scenes,is it safe to use on a jacket?,anyone tried it?

Maybe a whole lot of Pecards boot oil?? Not sure how you could keep it wet looking otherwise.

Well, you could walk around with a garden hose all the time....but, it would have to be a very 'long' one

Try KY jelly.
They used it on Buffy to make all their creatures shiny and wet looking and also on Spike's leather coat.

Thanks guys,I thought about KY but not I'm sure how long the shine will last,plus there's not much in a tube-maybe they do a 'family-sized' tube? which will last longer?-worth trying though,cheers.

WELLLL, if you can find it......Scotchgard makes a leather spray in the brown can that DOES weather proof leather, and leaves a wet look after it dries. Problem is, it's hard to find now.

I used to find it here in Tennessee at Walmart, but haven't seen it for a year or two now.

No going back. Once it's applied, it's the product you'll have to use from now on, or a product like it.
