Turk's head knots

Post by nevrwhere »

Anyone have any advice on putting the Turk's head on the end of the whip? And the know that sits where the whip meets the handle? I've made the rest of the whip, but the turk's head knots are killing me. I have the book by Ron Edwards and he is pretty detailed with his descriptions but I still am having trouble. Any advice? :?

Practice, practice and then practice just a little more. When you feel you might be in danger of ending up in a mental institution, have a rest and then after awhile back to the old practice. There's no easy solution I'm afraid just keep at it and you'll get there.
