Should I go for the 36S?
My jackets are usually size 36 Short, (odd size, I know) but Wested's jackets are already considered short. If I ordered it short, would I end up with a jacket that ends at my belly button or is the regular length just fine? I was going to contact Peter about this, but I figured I'd ask the experts around here first.

Add your back length: from the nape of your neck (where the collar of a well fitting t-shirt rests) to the top of your jeans pockets (on regular, not low rider jeans).SIZING HINTS and TIPS
As each Jacket is custom-made, I require the following measurements.
Height: Your height in inches or metric.
Chest: Measuring under the arms round the chest (loose fit). Or alternatively, the size of jacket that fits well, i.e. 42 Regular.
Sleeve: Measuring the sleeve length from the shoulder to the cuff or, even better, from the sleeve of a jacket that fits you.
I'd also tell them your waist size. They sometimes taper the body if you are slim.
Thanks to Skippy for the pic:
It's been noted that the guide sizes there are a little out of date.

As everyone say tho', get yourself measured, preferably by a tailor.
If you at least give Peter good chest, arm (shoulder to first knuckle of your thumb - the onefurthest from your thumb nail!) & back measurements (back from nape of neck to the tops of your jeans pockets as KT said) you will get a jacket that will fit you.
Go up one size if you want to wear a jumper underneath or have big shoulders.

The thing with the sizing guide is that it's just that: a guide. That's just a collection of examples of common sizes. Go with your own size - and tell them you're worried if you get a short that it'll end up at your bellybutton. They'll take care of it for you.GoneSolo wrote:I know that they make custom sizes, but I am talking about the sizing guide that is on their site.VP wrote:IndyMcFly just ordered a 34 and Dr._J ordered a 3 for his daughter.
