Guys, is that the Hannover Street jacket? If so, it is a Wested (well Leather Concessionaires!).

Now that you mention it, I guess it is from that movie

Can Peter confirm about this jacket?

He told me himself. It came up in a conversation, I asked how many times he had measured Ford, he said for Indy and for Hannover Street.

Correct. You're looking at an A-2 made by Peter.

Cool! I've been eyeing up the A-2s, lately. I even caught Hanover Street on cable this morning before work. That jacket looks great, altho I really prefer the Steve McQueen "Great Escape" jacket. Now that's a 'cool' jacket.

The hero makes the hero, now with that out of the way. I would actually like to see an A-2 made by Peter, oddly enough I am wearing one of mine right now, lol. There are two jackets I love, Raiders and A-2's, well then again a G-1 is great. The barnstormer jackets are great too, on my I am addicted!

I used to have a jacket like this. I outgrew it and gave it to my son. It had a few mods on it I enjoyed, though. An extra pocket on the sleeve perfect for a deck of cards or a pack of smokes. Plus it had a removeable fur collar. Great pic, btw.

If you're interested in obtaining one just like the one you gave your son, bleyd, check out the Wested 'Aliens' jacket. It HAS all those 'extra' items you added to YOUR old jacket, right down to the pocket on the sleeve.

If memory serves, I always thought that in addition to the "special pockets on the sleeve and front," unlike a genuine A-2, the jacket worn in the 'Aliens' film was also somewhat of a hybrid of the G-1 in so far as it appeared to me to have a pleated action back unlike a military A-2. I could be wrong about that, but it seemed that way to me.

First of all, HOWDY RIXTER!!! :D

Second of all, from what Peter told me, it is a hybrid version of the A-2. My daughter has one, and it's just like my standard FlightSuits A-2, but with the addition of side entry pockets and the sleeve pocket.

I always thought it was, "Peter makes the jacket," not the hero... :?

I like that picture of him though - pretty cool. Very nice jacket.

I would have to say the good looking actor with a custome made jacket makes the hero.

A real hero is defined by his actions, not by what clothes he happens to be wearing.

I think it's the hero who makes the jacket. A jacket is just a jacket, no matter how good looking it may be, until someone puts it on and does something in it.
