Kennebunkport weekend AB pics

Post by prairiejones »

My wife and I went to Kennebunkport this weekend and had a great time. I'll skip the boring stuff and get right to the pics of my AB.

A perfect example of how to wear a fedora.

It's being not worn in a 'Hey, look at me! I'm wearing a HAT!!!" stance.

It's being worn in a "Yeah....I have a hat on.....So?" look, and all discussion stops. :D

HIGH regards!

PJ,
Excellent hat and excellent surroundings. I wish I had known you were up there. It's only about an hour and a half away.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

HJ, we were visiting some friends in North Hampton for the weekend and spent Sunday night at a BB up in KBP. Lobster, Lobster, and more Lobster.

Dang, North Hampton you say, why I can top Hemmingway on that one, I'm about 20 minutes away from N. Hampton.

By the way nice lid my friend you wear it well.

Awesome, Prairie... simply awesome. Did you bash it yourself, or was that Steve? I like how you got the tight pinch without suffering the severe front slant in profile!

That is self-bashed using Pagey's old tutorial.

I like how the brim looks in your last pic. To me, that is part of the whole Raiders look, not replicated in the last two films. Looks like the hat is keeping its shape very well. Going by the current thought on vintage felt versus modern felt, your hat should look like a dunce hat at this stage. It is gratifying to see it does not. Fedora

I can't really see any difference from the hat now and the pictures I took right after I shaped it. It will be a year old in a month.

prairiejones, Fedora! You are killing me with this hat! I've seen some great job did to Akubra but looking at your work, it just seems there's ultimately no escape from Adventurebuilt. However, August is a month of my adventure and I'll surely proove, Akubra still has a spirit... Just wait for my September pics.

Cheers,

I do wear this hat a lot, at least five times a week.

Here is one on my wife and I's anniversary. And one in a pub in North Hampton.
