What causes Indy's hat from Last Crusade to be straight up and down in front and back and not slanted in front like the Raiders lid? Is it the block shape? I popped out the crown on my AB just to see if I could get that straight front, but it always slants back once I start to pinch it.
The Raiders hat is the greatest, but the LC lid has its qualities too. The straight front of the crown gives the hat kind of a mean look in some scenes.
The hat is really the co-star of those films. It seems to have its own personality that mirrors whatever is happening with Indy at the time. Or am I seeing things?

The reason is because the LC hat doesn't have a tight front pinch like that Raiders hat. Basically the tight pinch uses more material and give the reward slant.
