Any leather taylor can do the repair. But when it is bad craftsmanship by Wested they have to repair the jacket for free. You have to decide if you you want to send your jacket to Wested for two weeks or pay the taylor and get it done the next day.

Jude, check around the base, as most military installations (all, in fact) have at least ONE tailor shop that will do sewing on military uniforms and the like for military personnel. They also tend to specialize in working on leather jackets (as you Navy guys seem to like to throw yourselves off the decks of perfectly good ships in fast moving planes, and wear leather flight jackets while doing so. HOW odd. [-X  )

Find that tailor, and they can take care of you with no problems.

Personally I bought a leather hand sewing needle, and do all my own stitching. l've commited terrible sins to my wested, but hey it's cheap.

I just access the inside from the left arm, where wested close the final jacket.

I had work done on several Wested jackets by the one tailor who supports the AF base next to where I work, and they've done absolutely beautiful work, as they have to repair A-2 flight jackets all the time.

I'd say one or all of the ones you looked up will have the same background, experience, and correct sewing machines to do anything you need to have done on your Wested.

I had the sidestrap fastening come undone once, and I took it to a random tailor...he also put X-Box stitching in for me! :D
