I don't see why not...
I think our man, Dalexs is the one in the know how about the dying of shirts. Shoot him a PM and see.
How is the Stone color....I'm thinking of one of those myself.
Later!

Suggestion: Before you go redying the tan... Try just using color remover first. It may lighten enought to your liking. I don't think anyone has tried it yet on the Cabelas.
I know that the LLBEAN is VERY HARD to remove the color from. I run mine thru at least 3 remover baths and have yet to really lighten it up.
What I have done is taken out the majority of the "base" color (which is green) so it is lightening to a much better sandy color.
The picturre shows the llbean compared to the redyed NH. The llbean is the SAME color in both pics. The lighting has just changed alittle.
One is bright sunlight, the other is in the shade. The color in the shade is great but just needs to be alittle lighter. (it is a more accurate view of the color).
Maybe the Cabelas will do that to. There's only one way to find out.

The issue of the cotton/poly blend brings up another point. I trhink you may be right about removing color from it. It just nearly impossible to do.
The LLBean is 100% cotton, and a\the color is coming out but VERY VERY Slowly.

is the link for the shirt redye page. Its not so much a stone color but more of a "warm tan" color.

I've never had it happen. I don't know about anyone else.PropReplicator wrote:Thanks for the link.
Is there any chance of the color running in the rain after you do this?
Generally speaking, the dye process ends with another run thru the wash to get rid of excess dye. I've washed my shirt normally now ever since and no problems.

LLBean Shirt redye
So does everyone pretty much leave their LLBean shirts the same color they bought them in? I just ordered one and didn't know if I should redye it or not.

I think the consensus isthat the LLBean is a little dark but not a bad color overall. so if you let it fade naturally, it will loook really good.
My LLBean above, went thru JUST a dye remover bath a few times to see if you can do anything with it.
The LLBeans ARE VERY HARD TO REDYE.
The material/dye is extremely resilent to being removed (dye).
After 3-4 dye remove baths it still has a good amount of its color.
So just let it fade naturally. Wash it, hang it outside it the bright hot sun, and you'll be fine!
