Looking at it again, what appears to be a groove on the left side does not even go INTO the buckle, but trails off to the SIDE of the buckle. That's the gap between the edge of the strap and the first ripple of the shirt!

I think your right on that, but look just a tad further in (on the color pic) and there's a light line going down that side also. (goove with dirt as is on the other side as well)

And yes, I embossed straight from THAT color picture.

That's a pretty decent one Erri. I think on the top (right) of it may be partialy the edge, but I think there's a groove there too and certainly on the bottom (left) of the strap. Why else is there a light (some times dark) line about 1cm or 2 in from the edge(s), running most of the lenght of the strap in more than one shot?

I've got more pictures. Don't tempt me! Ugh. I should really be doing other things than trying to prove this though. :-k

Are they planning to release an HDTV-DVD collection?

Toshiba just released the first hi def dvd player. The first hi def dvd titles are just starting to come out. We will have to see how soon before they release a hi def version of the Indy dvds. They probably will release it when Indy IV comes out.

I was sure when they postponed the release of YIJC that was supposed to have been released late last year, that it was a sure sign that they were starting production of Indy IV. It only makes good marketing sense to release these dvds during the marketing hype for Indy IV.

I know on the DVD they changed the Raiders cover to "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" to give continuity with the other movie covers. Do you think they will leave it like that or would they go back to the title "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? I prefer the original title.

Of course there'll be the battle between HD-DVD and Blueray. The PS3 will have a blueray drive in it. (thus the huge cost) I've actually seen some blueray DVDs advertised.

Some guy in an AV fourm (and some other guy at the Raven) had a capture of Raiders in HD from TV and was supposed to send me a copy. I need to remind him. It's been awhile...

Here's some more screen shots. Some better and some not much better than some of the others than I've posted, but this is the best of them.

Well, I've been onboard with the grooves idea from the beginning. I hope that these pics bring some others over to this side.... I think that it's pretty clear in these.

I've seen again the previous pictures you posted IndyDoc... I would personally change the topic in "Grooves Confirmed in Raiders Bag Strap!"

Well I already posted these somewhere else but here we go again
