Gosh, you were shaking so much with excitement, that you showed up as a blur!!! I love it when folks get new hats. Take it on a long out of doors trip and watch that new hat take on the looksof a well traveled friend. It would be a shame to own a beaver hat and not abuse it somewhat. It will take a lickin' and keep on tickin' A hat should comunicate the personality of the wearer. Sure, I am mostly an armchair adventurer, but I want my daily hats to look like I have been somewhere, doing dangerous and thrilling things. So, I guess my hat should communicate what I wish I were doing. Fedora

Did you do that bash... it looks interesting, because you don't see an Indy-hat with a turned down brim often! I also just can totally agree to what Fedora said, a person who buys an Adventurebuilt shouldn't be scared to take it on adventure!
Now what is the right phrase for this... I think there's only one: Made to measure, Built to last!

I thought my Peters Bros. was top notch until I got this masterpiece. The fur is smooth as silk, super soft, and a nice rich brown. My PB feels like a rock compared to Marc's hat, and after a year of daily wear, I thought the PB was getting softer. The ribbon is beautiful, once again, shaming the PB. I have a SOC bash with about a 1" turn. When I took the pictures I didn't even realize the brim was down, until after I posted the pics. I have the same problem erri had when he got his, rain! Hopefully I'll get some better pics this weekend. Now I can finally get my PB reblocked, it's my yard work/gardening hat.
