So you want your pockets scalloped huh?
It all began when I decided to distress my jacket but that is a long story I will tell you about next time.
The point is that if you want scalloped pockets on your non-scalloped pockets wested you can have them quite simply.
This applies for sure on a Wested authentic lamb. At least, I tried it and it worked perfectly i.e. now I have scalloped pockets on my standard Wested.
All you need to do is follow the easy steps below:
Step 1: Wet the pocket flaps with hot water for about 2 mins each.
Step 2: Before the pocket flap dries, grab tightly with your fingers the edge (tip) of the pocket flap (just under the button) and pull hard (not too hard). You will notice that the leather is stretched. If you keep pulling carefully you will be able to shape your pocket flap to be scalloped. The pocket flap will increase in length just a little bit and you will have scalloped pockets. The button (press stud fastening) will still work fine, so dont worry.
That's all for today. Enjoy your scallopness.

Platon

The pockets in reality look much better.
I will try to make better photos and will post again.
Meantime what's your opinion on the above?
Please note also the jacket has been aged with acetone and own techniques.
