Alright guys I just ordered my first whip from Joe Strain. I will post pictures as soon as I get it. I can't wait ! It's an 8 Footer 12 plait in a Natural Color. It's gonna be so cool.

Joe was kind enough to take some pictures of my whip before he mailed it to me. Thanks so much Joe. Let me know what you guys think.

Congrats on a quality purchase!
You can tell Joe plaited the point of the whip very tight by the way it squeezed the oil in the leather to the surface, making it darker.

Wow!
That's got to be one of the best looking whips I have ever seen! Joe is an absolute master...the only bad thing is that now I want another Strain
in natural since my Strain is saddle tan.
Congrats!

Congratulations, That’s a Beautiful whip, the classic Indy style. I’ve said many times Joe Strain makes one of the best Indy style bullwhips, period. You won’t be disappointed.

Congrats on the whip, Ghost! Hey Darth, I gotta ask........so many of your posts come up twice......like an echo or something, lol. Just wondering why that is. Hope I'm not the only one who sees it.

You bet, sure thing.
As soon as I get the whip in the mail I would be glad to post some more pictures. 1 Week to go and then the whip should arrive, I just can't wait.
By the way Thanks guys for all your input.

I very nearly bought that very whip!! In the end I wanted a 10ft though so Joe made me one in saddle tan.
Be sure to post more pics when it arrives!

That's a pretty looking whip, a little olive oil, some sun, and you'll have a totally awesome Dr. Jones whip congrats!
