Pardon me boys and girls. I just wanted to try posting photos and the rules say if I don't post anything I will be taken off the member list. So, being a virgin poster I thought I would have a go with a photo first off.
If this doesn't work then I will probably stick to typing.

For goodness sake details. Those look to be target whips?
If you dont post details things could get out of hand quick!

Welcome To Club Obi Wan. Those are great looking whips. I agree with Dan and Adam, I use a lot of Terrys whips too and they do look a lot like his extended handled bullwhips. Where did you get them?
Dan
Thanks for the welcome Guys. I know most of the members here are mostly interested in the Indiana Jones style whips , after all this is the Indiana Jones club, but I see that there is a general interest in all types of whips and a great deal of knowledge amongst the members. Sadly have to admit these are not my whips, (I am the proud owner of a Joe Strain black bullwhip which will end up framed and mounted on the wall sometime when I get around to it, I am not much of a whip cracker and I don't want to ruin it). You are right though these are Terry's whips. I know him fairly well and have finally persuaded him to send me photos of some of the orders he has been sending out. I am reasonably sure that Terry's wife photographs the whips and he just goes along with it. He said fairly recently that he had something going out to ebay that is not in a catalogue I think what happens is that Terry gives the whip with a written description to his wife and she does all the computer work.
I nearly forgot to add the description for the whips, they are thirteen and a half inch tapered handle and seven foot long total.
Sorry to be so long winded, if any one is interested I can post other photos from time to time.
all the best

Littlejohn, Either way they are great looking whips thanks for posting the picture. As a fan of both Terry’s bullwhips and stockwhips, Tell him he does good work for me. Given the handle length I was guessing they where either Target whips or probably the “DeLongis” handle bullwhips he makes. Like myself many of the Indy Fans in the bullwhip section here are whip handlers and members of groups like the W.E. Whip Enthusiasts and the Wild West Arts Club. We use many different kinds of whips, not just the Indy style bullwhips so Feel free to post more pictures; I am sure we would all enjoy seeing them.
By the way, Make sure to use that Joe Strain bullwhip every now and then, just letting a great whip like that sit around can be more damaging to them in the long run. Joe makes a great whip and as long as your not using it on cement or hitting walls, you don’t need to worry too much about messing it up. A great whip needs to be cracked, its what it’s made for.
