Hi guys! Allow me to introduce myself (hat pic's)

Post by Chiliana Jones »

I'm Luke Skywalker. Jedi Knight and friend to Captain Solo!
ok ok you got me! i'm not!

I'm Ronny from Norway. Born the same year 'Raiders' saw daylight. I'm not a complete gearhead, mostly just a.....fedorahead? :?
well i have been vissiting this site for a long time now. three or four years i think and not joining until now

i've been a member for a few weeks now but the reason my little introduction comes now was because i've been away, to Oslo, to try to get in to the actingschool there (it's really hard and i didnt get in this year either  but hey there's always next year right? ) acting is the thing i wanna do! Harrison Ford is my inspiration :D

as i said i have been lurking around at this site for a while and i must say you're hats look fantastic. if you really want a Raiders hat this is the place to get the info!
i was close to order a AB from Steve last summer but then i remembered i had a new Raider Miller (open Crown)on the way so i put the order on hold and i think it was a good idea to do since Steve always makes his hats better and better so when the time comes i'll strike but for now im really happy with my Miller. It doesnt have the "Raiders Look". I did go for the "young Indy" look

ok a cant stop without leaving some hat pictures behind:

my hat and my Diploma from NYFA, Hollywood:

this is me in Irian Jaya/Papua New Guinea in 2003 with a fedora i bought at a second hand store while i was in the army. nowadays it just hangs on the wall

this will be it for now. hope to get to know some of you fellow Indiana Jones fans!:)

I've gotta agree with Weaver, that hat is a dead ringer for young Indy. It also has serious potential as a Temple of Doom bridge lid, if you made the dents just a little deeper. Glad to meet you, and good show!

Indeed! That's a great looking YI hat! You've got quite the famous face as well. Kind of "Legolas/Johnny Depp".

Welcome to the club!

I've always loved the YIJ hat and I think you've got it perfectly! Bravo. I like your single-breasted, peaked lapel jacket in the first pick... also VERY Young Indy.

On a side note... am I nuts, or is anyone else seeing Orlando Bloom in those pics? 8-[

Kind regards,
Magnoli

No, I see it too. He does look a lot like Orlando Bloom. He could play his brother or even a double!

Chiliana, welcome to COW. Some folks look good wearing a fedora, and some folks don't. On you, a fedora looks like a natural fit. That hat looks more like the Young Indy hat than any that I have seen.

Hello and welcome aboard, Orlando ... errr ... Chiliana a.k.a. Ronny! :D

Man, you guys from the North wanna take over the board, uh? We've got quite a lot members from Scandinavia!

And congratulations on your really nice looking hat.
I always was a bit sceptic about the Young Indy look (doesn't match my face  ), but it suits you very well.
And those pictures seem like you still had some very interesting adventures in tha past.

One more time: welcome!

Jens

thanks for the warm welcome guys!:D

yeah i do get that Orlando-comment alot. the time i was studying in Hollywood pople came up to me asking me if i were him or if i were related to him and some said i could work with him,as a brither or a stand in. and when i was walking around in hollywood boulevard, near the chinese theatre, during the premiere of the Tom Hanks movie "the polar express" i noticed there was a guy taking pictures of me. he took off when he noticed i noticed him. #### Paparazzi!hehe!:P

and when i comes to the pic of me in New guinea, thats a 300-400 year old mummy that the tribe (Dani tribe) keeps in theyre village

and i did notice that erri-wan have a resemblance to Keanu too! go Neo!:D

Glad you cleared that up. I was looking at that photo, and with the dried up mummy, and you holding that large bottle of water, I was thinking...

"Chiliana....I'm afraid you're a BIT to late with that to help that poor fellow." :-s

Ok this is a bit off topic but just yesterday I was thinhking about resemblance... apparently we have

Orlando Bloom... Ronny
Michael Schumaker... Weaver
Keanu Reeves... well many talks about me
Christian Slater... Hemingway Jones

and I would say... Harrison Ford... Indiana Tone (sorry but in some pictures he looks like him!) and well Magnoli has many resemblances here and there... I guess it's all about the spaghetti origins 8) (don't get offence Magnoli, not from me  )

plus another user is looking like "Fedora" of LC. Sorry my friend if your username now is out of my mind! ](*,)

Chiliana Jones...your photos look awesome! You exude a whole barrel of style and finesse. The hat looks great on you and the clothing you wear. I felt like I was looking at a GQ magazine in the fashion section.

Welcome aboard. You've been reading for a while you mentioned, so you're not 'completely' new, but welcome to the interaction finally. You'll have fun and learn a lot at the same time. Great group and a great resource here.

Pictures. You don't get anywhere without pictures here, so you are off to a good start!
