Well...I finally bit the bullet and thanks to Gio's great deal to all us COW members I have purchased my first Indy bullwhip. It's a 10ft 12plait. Cool.
I am next in line after he finishes his current whip so stay tuned. This guy is really great with his customer service BTW. Highly reccomended:)
BTW thanks Simon for all the invites to the Whip Crackers meetings. Rest assured I will come as soon as I have my whip. (and not before ) Just watch out for a guy wearing an AB and holding on for grip death to a bullwhip Stay Tunes for updates:)
Regards
TAZ
PS Thanks agian Erri...U know what I mean:)

Hi TAZ,
I'm sure you'll get a very crack-able whip from Gio and I wish you luck learning to use it.
I find it interesting, though, that while you have one of the top whipmakers in the world in your back yard, Simon Martin, and you went and ordered a whip from Italy That's not a knock on Gio, but I would've thought that you Taswiegans would stick together

Hi Taz
Congratulations on ordering your first whip! I'm sure you will be happy with it and I will be interested to see it sometime and try it out. I don't have a problem with you buying your whip overseas as I sell to overseas customers and they could have bought from there local whipmaker and anyhow I'm busy enough as it is.
By the way Adam and Paul sorry I haven't replyed to your emails I've had a really busy week with a BIG Agricultural field day. I should get time tonight.
Kind Regards

Yes Agfest was great. Got to meet lot's of different people including Will Hodgeman. By the way it was Ben Hughes that was on the news. Here is a story that was in the examiner the other day http://www.examiner.com.au/story.asp?id=340858
Also there was a picture of Ben and one of my whips in the Advocate today.
