Scalloped pocket?

Post by PLATON »

I am going to order my 2nd Wested and don't want to repeat the mistake I made with my 1st order.

This time I am going for the ultimate description as per agent5, but there's one thing that troubles me.

It's the scalloped pocket. I 've seen hundred pics of the Wested in this forum but no one had the scalloped pocket.

Any of you gentlemen has a photo of the scalloped pocket to post?
It will be much appreciated.

Do you want it more scalloped than this? Maybe see if you can get a capture from raiders to show what you want

If you order scalloped and this is what you got then it can be a problem.

The scalloped I need can be seen in the below links (all from agent5's ultimate accuracy post)

Anyone got this much scallop? Can you post photo pls?

Ok...you'll definately have to send them the reference pics then!

This certainly adds weight to the famous over distressed LC jacket.

A little of it is camera angles and also stunt jackets, I prefer it to be slightly less pointy. I could be wrong and the screen ones are all like that! I haven't got my copy of Raiders here to take caps from. I'm sure others will pipe up when they wake up ;).

Regards,

Kt.

There are two screen accurate jackets. In some scenes they are scalloped, in others, they are like the regular wested pockets. Both are screen accurate and it's just a matter of taste. I thought i'd be going for the scalloped pockets but when I got to wested, I really liked the regular ones. Also, since Wested doesn't have a pattern for the scalloped pocket, be prepared for recieving something not exactly like the movie ones. they may try to get it close, but it MAY end up looking like neither of them. That last pic is close, but it's not screen accurate.

TFrosst. Thanks for your coments.
I really cannot remember any scene in the film where the regular pocket is seen. If any gentleman can post a screen shot it will be great.

I think the FS pocket is enough scalloped.
If I can get the same shape from Wested I'll be happy.

More to come. The scenes where Indy's fighting with the german mechanic also have this type of pocket flap.

That's a nicely shaped flap G-mann. Is that a Wested? If they did yours, they should still have that cut pattern on file

No, it's that other company that is not safe to mention here. However it is good for referrence purposes.
