Forgiove me my stupidity, but...
I am looking into buying an OD green WWII US military uniform shirt, and was wondering how to read the shirt sizes. They have sizes like 14.5 x 33. Is that just like regular/modern dress shirts? Neck: 14.5 x Sleeve 33"?
WWII US Military shirt sizes? How to read?

The 14.5 is the collar and the 33 is the measurement from the collar to the wrist, I believe. Im a WWII reenactor, so the ones I have bought, that's how I've told sizes.
I think this site has information (cant remember, there are a lot of links though.)

US WWII Shirts...
They are cut large. So keep that in mind when you buy one online. I usually wear a 16.5 X 33 but can easily fit in a 15.5. Just something to keep in mind. 40's clothing was not baggy like the kiddies wear today.
