whip making Tutorial?

I have been looking for a tutorial on start to finish whip making. I found a few but most assume knowledge of braids already. I was hoping there was a photo essay on the plaiting methods.

David Morgan's book "Braiding Fine Leather" has very good instruction on braiding. His book "Whips and Whipmaking" gives good insights into whipmaking and the construction of his famous Indy whip. Bernie has a good bullwhip tutorial (but not braiding) and Ron Edwards' book "How to Make Whips" is a very good introduction to whip making techniques- including braiding, with emphasis on stockwhips but some insights into general bullwhips. Combine all of these and you'll know most of what you need.
