It is going to be in this week. I think on the 21st. This is what Gemma wrote to me on 02/16. But last time Peter rejected the skins because the were too small to make the back panels. Lets hope his supplier brings larger hides this time.

January 25. I hope they put a rush on these older orders. That would be the fair thing to do.

ya tell me about it. I originally ordered a lamb that didn't fit me, and instead of shipping back and having them replace it I kept it (another family membe rhad a use for it) and just ordered a new one, so this really is the jacket I have had on order since december!

I am glad you were happy with your authentic, I still prfer the darker brown. It's too cold for a leather jacket here now anyways so the wait is no biggie. :D

Ken,

I added the Jacket info to this first picture.
The Fedoras from left to right are:

1 & 2=New World Hatters (Chicago) 3=AB 4=Peters Prothers _ Style Indy.

I have been working at this since Raiders first came to Theaters.
Yep I am an old fart.

Ken,

I just turned 51 this month, I think 50 may be the definining point between stale and old (in terms of farts)

Your dark Brown goat is beautiful. I know what I like and that is the reason why I would rather wait than settle for the next best thing.
Patience is a virtue.

John

Ken,
Too true. Yes having NW Hatters here has made it possible for me to have an Indy Fedora since Raiders came out. My first Jacket was also made locally by an old gentleman that has since passed away. He was able to do a pretty darn good job from photos and drawings I made for him. I will dig it out of hiding and post photos of it one of these days.

Hey, G-MANN, if you could can you keep me appraised of your jacket status? If it is shipped, lemme know as I would like to gage any difference between your order and mine.. I asked Gemma on monday if the leather was in and she said yes it was but nothing concerning shipping time, so I'm kinda worried that mine will get delayed another week. Thanks

Mantis,
I would think yours SHOULD be shipped earlier than mine, since you ordered 9 dayrs before I did. However I will let you know of any news on my end.

O.K. Here you go, Per Gemma

As we had such a back log of jackets, we had about 15 jackets before your order number which have been cut and being machined now so your jacket will be sent by the end of next week. I will email you when being sent if ok with you?

hey guys, I have a problem... I have spring break this coming up week, I had planned to leave friday, however now that the jacket has shipped with

"International Scheduled"

Which says it is delivered in 3 days to New York area, which I am in (25 mins away form NYC), in PA.

So... Should I wait it out till saturday for the possiblity of picking up the jacket before my break? Its wednsday now so that leaves 3 days to saturday. What should I do?

Ya thats what im worried about. If it were to arrive while I was not here, the college post office may hold it but at the same time, if there was a tax of sorts, they may just leave it in the town's post office in waiting. I would be gone until the next week so maybe I should just stay. Ya it would be good for my mojo thats for sure ;)

Let me tell you a scary story.....my first Wested cotton Raiders jacket ended up at Vanderbilt University for some odd reason.....I work for the University of Tennessee....why it went to Nashville when I'm located at another university campus over 70 miles south east, we'll NEVER know.....that jacket was NEVER found, though it was signed for by their receiving department......took another month before my first cotton Wested arrived at the right address. :?
