Best choice for LC hat

I have been trying to find the best hat in terms of shape and color for a while. I have many hats but none I feel get the look perfect. I have 3 regular federations, a PB, 2 AB, a miller, and a keppler. It seems based on other post that the Fed Delux is a very good choice. I was wondering about the color. I think the regular federation is to dark. What would be the best course to take.

Hows the miller holding up? I considered getting one myself, but shied away from the idea after hearing several reports that the millers taper like a ####

My first Indy was a Miller and it really did taper a lot...KC
