Got my pants from Magnoli

Post by randystokes »

Tuesday morning, I received a FedEx package with my Adventure Pants from Magnoli Clothiers (they arrived December 20, barely over two weeks since I placed the order). I ordered the wool version in Mocha. These are NICE PANTS. Very well made, good looking, and the fit couldn't have been better if I'd made a personal visit to the tailor. (I did my own measurements, with a little help from my wife and a little "consultation" with a nice pair of pants I already owned.) Even my wife, who doesn't "get" this Indy thing, complimented the pants.

I posted a review of the pants on Indy Magnoli's website, but perhaps the best recommendation is that I've just placed an order for another pair, this time in the cotton fabric in the Goldenrod color.

And, before you ask, yes, I will post pictures, but probably won't be able to do so until after the first of January. The Magnoli pants, along with my Westeds, are at the dry cleaners being pressed in preparation for my annual family trip with my wife and kids to visit my parents in California between Christmas and New Year's.

Happy holidays to all.

He's also gotten a VERY positive review on the RPF on a James Bond/Goldfinger suit. Looked too sweet!

Are they dry-clean only or can you wash them like any other pair of pants?

I'm assuming dryclean only, as they're wool. I ordered a pair of the cotton pants, and Indy Magnoli recommended that those be line dried (though washing is, obviously, fine).

I've got a couple pairs of the 120s Merino and have mashined washed them two or three times each with no apparent ill effects. The cloth's manufacturer recommends dry cleaning, but so far so good... [-o<

Kind regards,

Other than that, the only pics I could find by ANYONE of Magnoli's pants are all the great pics on Magnoli's site.

Hope that helps.

Amazingly, I'm not wearing either pair today, but will check tonight at home and post the results.

The back belt loop is centered as in Raiders. ;)
