Fortune and Glory has arrived!
I have just recieved my AB, and boy is it sweet. Steve is truly a Master Craftsman. Fits a little tight, but I think with some wear it will mold to the shape of my head. I am one of those that wear my hats, and this fine hat is no exception. I will wear it in the sun as well as the rain, you can tell it is a hat that is meant to be worn.
I will try to have some pics to post before the week is out. Hopefully by tommorrow.

I'm not sure, the brim is really soft, easy to move around but I dont know if I would call it floppy. I do know Steve mailed mine out Friday so it may be the last one of the old bodies. Anyway this one feels great after wearing it all nightG-MANN wrote:Very nice Fedora and you wear it well.
I am expecting mine to arrive Wednesday or Thursday.
Is yours made from the new softer felt :?:
if the new ones are any better I dont think I could stand it...

Great hat! my AB was my first Center Dent fedora as well... I had a fedora I rebashed with a center dent but the taper was terrible... I'll never be able to go back either... my AB is the first of 8 fedoras that I've thought looked perfect the moment I got it... all the other ones required tweaks or reshaping to look good but the AB is truly the beast of the fedora world as soon as you get it out of the box... wear it well!
So now that you're a gear head what's next? Jacket? whip? both? :c) good luck

Re: hat
Nope its not green, must be the flash from the camera that makes it do that.jpenman wrote: it's makes your hat look green.
