I should also add the nice thing about Airsoft is that it is legal in both Canada and Britain--you do not need a permit.
Well 'legal' may be a bit loose--it's in a gray area. Because both countries use a very similar firearms legislation, the wording is the same: "A replica firearm is defined as a reasonably close imitation of a real firearm with no moving parts".
Those last 3 words are the kickers--Because Airsoft guns have moving parts (they shoot BB's) they are legally allowed. So far attempts to change this wording have failed. I know here in Canada you can have a 100% accurate M-60 Machine gun that would strike terror into anyone who feels fear, with the biggest risk being losing an eye, and it is completley legal.

Airsoft Indy Guns
I have one of these beauties. It's just too bad they don't have the .45 w/ the 6" barrel. I also have the S&W M10 Police model (aka Victory Model), they are great close enoughs even though technically they are a smaller caliber.
