Predistressed Question
Hey I got a question about the aforemetioned hide... I understand that its a bit thicker, is the thread a bit heavier to compensate? The goatskin Wested's thread seems like it would be a bit thin for Predist cowhide... I searched other threads but couldnt find an answer...

I have had the same Wested Pre-D for about 4 years, and the only 2 problems I ever had was 1) the liner split down a seam along the shoulder/back, and 2) the hand-warmer thread has come undone, leaving a gaping hole from the cargo pocket to the handwarmer pocket.
The cowhide is definitely a heavier leather, and I wear it all winter...too hot for Summer duty (which is what the lambskin is for, anyway)
