Erri, I have been gone on holiday. I didn't have internet access.

Once I figure it out, I will post pics of her in my hat and also pics of my new Wested.

do those pics accurately represent the color you see in real life? Any of you who own an authentic color jacket?

My friend, only leather samples represent accurately the colour :P
Neither in the film we can see the "real" colour of indyjacket, if you know what i mean

Anyway i'll take pics also in other light conditions sooner or later so you can compare :)

IMO .... yes. The authentic can look and photograph dark in different lighting. Case in point, the movie! I was tempted by the dark side  but could not have been more pleased when my authentic lamb arrived.

That jacket looks great on you Erri.

A LITTLE ADVICE for who buy an 80's fit wested... get all satin!!!!! Cotton body is useless in an 80's fit because the jacket is tight already, it wont surely slip off of your shoulders.
With cotton you only get bad electrostatic lightning (Palpatine style) when you go out of the car and touch metal stuff. it's a pain in the arse. i hate it
and your epaulettes bend over under the jacket... probably with satin body this wouldnt happen. I'll keep this in mind for the next jacket :P

Jacket looks good. Dont take this as insult, but with the lighting in the last picture it looks like an action figure!

It looks amazingly unshiny for being brand new. (which is good) Guess it's just because it's not a close up.

Mine's still a bit shiney it's nearly 7 months old and I've been wearing it nearly every day. It's been rained on and even snowed on a bit. I must not stay outside for long enough! :) (Thank you Strider, .... no I don't want any sandpaper... no really. But thank you anyway!):)

Ah man Tone, talk about bad luck. :( When I first looked at that pic I said he's got the smaller Raiders yoke, cool! It look a minute before I noticed that the sleeve really are misaligned. The right looks about 3/4" or so off. But that left side looks about 1-1/2" off. Well, at least you've got your trusty old lamb.

and i can't remember the old one

It's good that the sleeves are perfect. When i received mine they just forgot to "close a seam" but i did it by myself. Maybe they must pay more attention about these "details" :? :?

Doh! Sorry to hear that Tone.

Looking at your guys new jackets brings me to the question of, is Wested making the back yolk wide enoght to meet the sleave seam now?

Seems like a while ago the back yolk wasn't wide enough to reach the sleeve seam and the reason was it made it too thick and hard to sew.

Looks like you both got a yolk that does meet the sleave seam. Did you have to request that or is that how it is now days?

Man, that *****! I'm sorry to hear that. When I saw what had happened to you, I checked my new goat for the same issue, but thankfully, it wasn't there. I wonder why I have been able to avoid ever having to send a jacket back to Wested. I've only had to send my hat to Steve for re-blocks or re-sizing. I hope it comes back the way you want it, Tone.
