Farnhams Got a Wested...
And this time I'm going to chain it permanently to myself--for those that don't know, my first was stolen from me in a Bar in Winnipeg. Theres some Manitoban thug walking around with a Wested that doesn't fit him right. The jerk.
But that is all water under the bridge (unless I see the bugger...then it'll be me and him under the bridge with a large, heavy, swingable object in my hand! ) because just yesterday, after a 2 day train ride back home from university (upon which I met an absolutley wonderful young lady, but that's a different story) I went through my door and saw the package waiting for me.
I ordered it directly from Peter at the QM, and was measured by him. It's a Raiders jacket in Auth. Lamb, with the 80's cut. It is a very nice jacket!
The drape is somewhat off on the left side because of the leather facing in the pocket, however with a bit of pecards this loosened up, and apart from that I wanted the leather facing as this jacket is for wearing, and I wanted it as durable as possible.
In short, it is the perfect jacket!! I've hardly taken it off since the pecard treatment, and I'm absolutley thrilled to once again have a Wested on my back. Cheers to Peter and the folks for making it, and a shout out to my wingman Guybrush for the order tips he gave me as I was standing in line to be measured!
Pics will come soon.
Cheers
Craig

Congratulations, Craig!
The good news is you SHOULDN'T take it off for a while. If you can, sleep in it for a night or two, it will really start shaping itself to you and get a lot of character. If you need an excuse, fall asleep on the couch watching TV. It worked for me. Then you just seem tired (and cold) not quirky. "Poor Craig, he fell asleep on the couch in his jacket... again... that's the 7th night in a row..."

Actually Jer, I think I could probobly get away with sleeping in the Wested without anyone raising an eyebrow.
I wear a leather tricorn pirate hat to the bar, a kilt whenever I feel like it, and randomly ask girls to dance to elevator music. People are..."used" to me I'm sure you and Bink can relate!
Cheers

So glad you got your new jacket, it doesn't get more exciting than that! Looking forward to seeing your pics I'm interested to see these 80's fit jackets since I don't think I had that option 3 years ago, so I went and had mine tailored to fit slimmer on me. I just might have to have Wested make me another one of these bad boys again soon! Wear it in good health, enjoy!

Hey Guys,
The wested is glorious--I'll have pictures up in this thread in about 3 weeks (Me, being a foolish dolt, left my digital camera at my place, and currently I'm at my Parents 2000 kms away :S)
Cheers

Michaelson's Mustache + Fire = Eternal Flame. There's enough fuel there for years!Ah, cherish...such a useful word...like cherishing something with an eternal flame...
