New What Price Glory holster

Post by redfour »

Hi Everyone,

Jerry sent me one of these to review. It is a repro webley type holster. Jerry was specific in saying that he wasn't trying to do a perfect Indy replica (like the officers pinks), but he thought that we might be interested.

Here are some pics that I took on top of my lambskin wested for color comparison (pics taken in full sunlight):

I'm not sure if Jerry has these up on his site yet. Also, I'm unsure about pricing. Jerry's MKVII bag is a good price, so this should be too. I think he's made a fine replica. :) Hopefully Jerry will post pricing.

What does everyone think?

Thanks,

John D

I like it! Maybe I could get Jerry to make one for on the left for me? I'll have to drop him a line...

Thats a very very interesting holster. Is it an accurate repro of an existing holster or a new creation? Did he give a price for it?

I've seen WPG's MK Vll bag and it's pretty good. However, this holster has "China" written all over it. If the IMA holster(which I have seen) is $29.95, then this one should be $14.95. Please don't take this wrong, it's just like when Sears had three different price ranges, "Good, Better, Best"! it depends on what's important to you. There's room for all!

I asked him about the price today. He said $35.00. Is there a better one around for the same money?
