Got my Gladstone bag

Post by randystokes »

Just got it this morning. Bought it from eBay. If anything, it looks nicer in person than in the pictures. Great shape, well-constructed -- a few scratches, but solid and no excessive wear, etc.

Now all you've got to do, is get yourself an umbrella, stick it between the handholds, and go to the beach, where there's a bunch of seagulls. Then walk out there and huck the bag at some stranger, and yank your umbrella out once they catch it, and go running at the seagulls, going: "cluck cluck cluck!"

Good thing you'll be running too, because the guys in the white coats will be hot on your tail!

Yeah, but I went online and found that a Brigg umbrella like Henry Jones Sr.'s would be about $325 after shipping and currency conversion, so I have a feeling if I got one of those, it would be my wife leading the chase! (Especially since I live in Phoenix where it hardly rains!)

That is a beautiful bag! Well done. Amazing!
BTW, I have a Brigg in Hickory and I always put it through the straps of mine.

Yeah, not cheap, but when it arrived and I saw it in person I had no regrets for what I paid.
