Just as a matter of interest I see there are an increasing number of quality whips appearing on e-bay at the moment, including a David Morgan.

There are certainly some nice looking whips popping up on Ebay. But the picture is only half of the story. You need to ask a lot of questions of the maker if you don't know him/her. I've seen a few whips purchased by other people on Ebay over the years and even bought a few myself, that looked great in the picture but left a lot to be desired when it was finally in my hands. The outside may look great, but you never know what's inside of the whip, or if the whipmaker knows anything about balancing a whip, etc.

I was at a flea market last year and came accross a 12 plait stock whip that
looked brand new. I asked to crack it, and it handled horribly. So just goes to show looks arent everything. Thats true about so much in life.

Hey Randall, please don't take this the wrong way, but I was surprised at your pic. You sound like a very active person~family man, share your political views, etc. Your pic reminded me of an older brother of mine, at least appearance wise, but he's very unlike you. That pic of you was the farthest thing from what I envisioned your appearance to be~LOL. I truly mean that as a complement!

Steve.
