Did anyone see the pics of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's weekend wedding? I wonder if that could have been the hat. My bet is still on Depp, but I couldn't help but wonder when I saw the hat. His suit: cream Brooks Brothers suit. Unfortunately, OK magazine has part of the fedora covered up.
It's probably not Kutcher, as Fedora had mentioned eariler we'd already guessed the guy and to my knowledge Kutcher hadn't been mentioned yet.

Ok, I shipped the guys hat out Sat morning, overnight. After a couple of changes, look out for a silver belly fedora, 1/2 inch silver ribbon, wind trolley, very tall crown, wide brim. Sent it open crown per his instructions. Still cannot say who it is though, or head size. Quirky guy, and I can say that.
Looks like I will have two hats in the public eye. I am making a hat in November for a famous rock and roll person. It will be easy to spot. Imagine an Indy fedora with a dyed cobra skin hatband to match his Strat. His signature licks are world known. And unlike the first celebrity, this fellow here is a heck of a nice fellow. Down home friendly. He was nice enough to offer me an original memorbilia article-signed. He was referred to me by another AB customer. Anyone here? PM me if a member did this. Otherwise, it was one of the hundreds of lurkers who have bought my hats. Fedora

Wow, that makes it even more intrigueing along with the "quirky guy" comment. But, everyone mentioned you'd think would come across as a nice person when ordering a new hat for themselves. Were there any verbal misunderstandings or anything like that Steve? And unlike the first celebrity, this fellow here is a heck of a nice fellow.

Will definitely keep an eye out for this hat! I am very interested in who this crown, wide brimmed, undisclosed head size fedora wearing celebrity is!Fedora wrote: look out for a silver belly fedora, 1/2 inch silver ribbon, wind trolley, very tall crown, wide brim. Quirky made me think Nicholas Cage but I do not recall seeing him wearing a fedora.
Tall crown, silverbelly, 1/2'' ribbon reminds me of:
Oh, do not misunderstand. This hat I mentioned(film star) is a Borsalino looking hat. Not a western hat. The cobraskin band matches the guitar only in color and not in finish. Matching is favorite guitar was my idea since he did not want a tradtional ribbon hatband. Lots of those rock guys wear snakeskin, so the lightbulb came on.
The comment on this fellow being a nice guy should not be taken wrongly. The film star was nice, just not friendly, at least that is the impression I got. But, remember, I am a country yokel of sorts that will just run on and talk ya head off, at times. So, that may have been part of my surmising. regards, Fedora

I think the Rock guy is Billy Gibbons. I was looking at a book with all his cars and guitars. He wears hats, shops at Peters Bros., but he needs a new one. The one he wore in the book looked like a womans swim cap with little half inch rubber dreadlocks. Likes to have a rattle snakes on stage sometimes.

Hey Steve,
I am not much for guessing games, so my question focuses on the snakeskin hatband. Did you buy that or make it? Can you get pictures of it? As we discussed a while ago, I was going to grab a skin at implora.com and make one, but I did not get too far. About as far as I got with the Alligator tooth band. I have 24 teeth in a box.

That would be my guess, as he is a registered member on COW, however he's not really tabloid fodder that I know of.Indiana Wayne wrote:Adam Savage?
Second that comes to mind is Depp.
How about Charly Dannials?! He did a song for the Veggie Tales video, "Minnasota Cuke and the Search for Samsons Hairbrush". Not a really a rock star, but country/rock. (or Southern Rock)
OK, after reading more of the posts and seeing it was guessed, and Indy was "compition" I'd guess Nick Cage, or maybe Bredon Fraser (if he was mentioned...I didn't read every post )
Or maybe Gene Simmons on the "Rocker" hat. Eric Clappton? Wouldn't think he'd have a snake skin Strat though.
So are you allowed to reveal it after he has it (or there is a picture with him wareing it)?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the guitar does not have a snake skin pattern on it. It is just the same color as the hat band.Oh, do not misunderstand. I'm too curious to just sit by and watch this!
So. Is the guy among the people in this link;
http://www.thegoldenera.net/current_fam ... arers.html
It looks like they've excluded Michaelson though, funny. Must be a bug they have in Java coding...
High regards,
Swindiana

Yeah, I guess that would make it confusing. I think the snakeskin band one is for a musician. The porkpie I believe was the first star mentioned, who changed his mind from the porkpie to the current one sent out. I could be totally wrong though as I'm going from memory (I'm too busy packing at the moment to read through the previous posts.)

I have an idea.
Fedora posts photos of the two hats he made. The one for the movie star and the one for the music star.
Then, when we see them in situ, we'll know who the celebs are. That way, Fedora won't have told us who they are, we'll know for sure, and he's in the clear with a cloudless conscience.
