Yes, I'm actually looking for someone willing to commission this piece so I can photograph it and add it to my site. I'm offering the TOD dinner jacket to the first customer for $295 (normally it'll be $330). I can do this ivory/cream (as in the film) or white if you prefer. Pants, vest and shirt (with or without removable collar) is also available. PM or e-mail me for more details.

Currently in the works at the moment:

Indy's Marshall College Three Piece Suit
Indy's Venice Pier Suit
James Bond's Goldfinger Three Piece Suit

These should all be up on my site in about month to six weeks.

As I've been incredibly busy at work since getting a recent promotion I don't get to stop by here as much as I'd like. But having just found this thread I must say that Indy Magnoli has surpassed even his high standards once again with his current offerings of vintage design suits. I don't know how or how soon, but I'll be placing an order with him. One thing that would be very nice to see on the site are pictures of each suit in each color as they become available. It can be hard to envision something from a color sample sometimes.

This is something I wanted to do from the beginning. But, other than altering images in photoshop, it'd be very expensive for me to do this. I'm trying to cut costs however I can to keep these suits affordable.

I'm now looking for someone interested in commissioning Bogey's trenchcoat from Casablanca. I'm estimating it to cost $550, but I'll do the first one for $495...

I'm not implying that you would need to make a suit just for the pictures. I was thinking that as orders come in for different colors maybe you could add these pictures to your site. I'm sure it won't take long before you're overwhelmed with orders; the quality looks top notch (as usual

).

Also as folks order these suits I'm sure that we will get an opportunity to see them on real live gearheads too.

I would love to offer this dressing gown, especially since I haven't seen anything close except in actual vintage robes. I'm sure this has shoulder pads just like a suit jacket. I've seen this on vintage gowns before, but never in modern styles. Unfortunately, it'll probably too expensive for me to reproduce. People are willing to pay a few hundred dollars for a suit, but would you pay a couple hundred for a robe you wear around the house? If so... I'd be happy to work through the details of this.

The "Goldfinger!" I can't wait to get it, Indy! And, if I do say so, the "Marshall" looks great, as well. I've wanted that suit for years! What color is that that you are wearing? It looks very screen accurate. Looks like I start the saving game again!

The color I'm wearing is a medium/light grey. It has absolutley no brown in it in person, so I wouldn't vote for its screen accuracy (I just needed a grey suit, not another brown one).

The material is really nice for this type of suit and is also available in a "medium brown" which is probably closer to screen accuracy. If you don't mind a lighter material, though, the 120 Cool Cashmere that I used for the Venice suit comes in a "medium brown" that shifts from brown to grey depending on the lighting.

I know some of your are interested in a Henry Jones Sr. suit... you know when he was younger, beardless and carried a PPK. 8-[

Hi all,
Just a word to let you know that the "Venice Pier" suit I recieved from Magnoli is perfect!!

The fit is fantastic and the quality is better than some custom made suits I've had in the past. If all goes well I plan on having at least four of the differeant "Indy" suits on display at the museum for the Finger Lakes Summit in September.

Thanks again Tony, the "Washington Steps" suit is next. (Did you save my measurements or do I need to submit them again?)

I've got these available in five different color/weave patterns of pure wool tweed (Ash/Silver, Brown/Tan, Gold-flecked Brown Herringbone, Camel, Dark Olive):

The coat shown above is "Brown/Tan" and looks to me to be the most screen accurate. Even the weave of that color looks right. One of these coats is $240 (shipping included).

Has anybody posted pictures of the Washington Double Breasted suit? I'm wondering how it fits compared to vintage double breasted suits. The fit looks very close to the movie suit.

After the things Marc Chevalier said at the FL about the different location of the buttons in the 30s and 40s, I'd the "Washington" is a middle thing. I also think the lapels on that one are too round to be screen-accurate!

Yes, I'm with VP on this one. Not that I don't think it looks great- I just want to see this suit on a real person. The buttons and lapels look fine to me.

The angle and point of the lapel peaks look fine to me according to this picture. The belly of the lapel also looks accurate.

The button stance looks accurate on Magnoli' Washington suit, too. The last set of button hits just below the pockets.
The only difference I see is the most obvious. There isn't any evidence that Indy's suit had any stripes (not that it isn't a good look!). Magnoli, however, does offer a cashmere/silk blend in solid navy, although I do not know if this fabric will drape the same way as the movie suit or the sample that is pictured. Magnoli's suit looks to have enough waist suppression, but honestly you won't be able to tell unless a real person is wearing it.

Well, Henrik, you were right in that for a 1936 suit, some of those details are a little off. The popular look for DB suits then was the higher button stance and rounder bellied, more horizontal lapels. I guess Indy's fashion sense was a little ahead of his time (i.e., MKVII satchel?).

Tie looks like a burgundy with greenish (?) dots tied in a half-windsor knot. Could be vintage?
