Gear Display Ideas

Post by Zach R. »

Now that I am only a few days from completion of my full set of gear I'm now thinking of ways to display it when not in use.

I saw that some of you used men's "valets" or coat-racks, are there any other ideas on how to display your gear or does anyone have an example of theirs?

For my display I hang my MKVII on my desk chair, have my hat on a cup of pencils, whip hangs on a wooden peg next to the desk, just the way I have it set up now, i haven't figured out where i should put my holster though. Good luck in the setup

I have been working on a Club Obi Wan Logo coat, whip and hat rack. I just finished all the painting today and will be hanging it tomorrow. I will try and get a pic of it up for everyone to see. I think everyone is going to like this one :D

Good rack, TR...I'd been thinking about this myself lately, and 5 pegs was about what I was thinking too. Don't want to double-up, it'll turn into a mess...and leaving the whip IN the holder ON the belt ON a peg was ungainly...but EASIER. Okay, now I'm still considering 4...sigh...

Hmm, I think a dark, mahogony, heavy, stand-alone coat rack would be perfect. :-k

What do you guys think?

If you've got the floorspace, definitely.

TR - amazing! First I thought, you made a picture of my room. That's exactly the same way, I "display" may gear - it looks (and is, of course) like a part of "daily life", no fancy film-costume, but clothes you'll wear in real life ... :D

Here's mine. One set is on the mannequin, the others are in the closet on hangers.
